Abstract
Chinese securities firms have started to diversify their operations in response to 2010 earnings deterioration stemming from fierce price competition in the brokerage business. Against such a backdrop, investment advisory, which are being promoted by Chinese regulatory authorities also, ave recently been in the spotlight.
